Children
FCC takes seriously Jesus’ call to “Let the children come to me” (Matthew 19:14). In fulfilling our mission, we seek to guide children and families to know of Jesus’ love for them, to grow in his love, and to share his love with others.
NURSERY: The nursery is a loving place for children 3 years old and younger. Nursery care is offered for both worship services
SUNDAY SCHOOL: We offer two Sunday school Classes which meet from 9:45-10:30 a.m.: a class for Preschool-1st grade children, and a class for 2nd grade-5th grade children. In Sunday school they engage in creative Bible lessons with worship and prayer.
CHILDREN WORSHIP & WONDER: During the 10:45 worship, children 4 years through 3rd grade are invited to their own worship experience.
WACKY WEDNESDAY: WW is our after school ministry. The children experience fun and hands on Bible lessons, worship, gym time and snack. Children 1st-5th grades meet from 3:15 – 5:00 p.m. They are picked up at their school and brought to the church. Children 4 years – kindergarten meet from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Parents bring them.
Club 345: Kids With A Mission Club 345 is our Fellowship and service ministry for children in the 3rd-5th grades. They meet on Sunday nights, 5:30-7:30 for fellowship, learning, prayer and service.
MISSION CAMP: This is a summer day camp for children 1st-5th grades. For four days they engage in mission and service work along with fun field trips.
MEGA CAMP: A summer ministry that meets for 4 nights. Through various sports, arts, high energy worship and small group time, children learn the joy of following Jesus.
OTHER MINISTRIES: Overnight summer camp at Wa-kon-Da-Ho; Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Family Christmas Eve service.
There are many opportunities for children to discover just how much Jesus loves them and so does First Christian Church.
